Lou Yio Adams
Lou Yio Adams is a Taiwanese-American pop and dance music singer, and visual artist who lights up clubs with a bright tenor and magnetic stage presence. Switching effortlessly between English and Mandarin, he fuses driving electronic grooves with the centuries-old art of Chinese calligraphy, creating performances where ancient brush-strokes morph into neon futures. Each track is an invitation to move, connect, and imagine a world where cultures dance together.

get up and dance!
Born and raised on a tropical island where late-night radio blasted American dance anthems that wired my heart to a four-on-the-floor beat, I spent my high school and college years juggling jazz dance classes at noon with hip-hop battles after dark, turning every step into rhythm and movement research.
Ancient artistry meets future beats
For me, every brush-stroke is a bass drop. I animate the 3,000-year journey of Chinese characters, pictograph to pixel, then sync each evolutionary step to a kick, snare, or synth swell. The result is a living calligraphy that pulses with light and sound, reminding us that progress and heritage can share the same dance floor.
